TentTrace System
You’re already one step closer to leaving no trace. By joining TentTrace, you’re helping protect festivals, reduce waste, and support a cleaner future for everyone. Scan your tent in, enjoy your perks, and scan out knowing you’ve done something genuinely good for the festival community.
Charges & How It Works
£4.99 Access Fee: Unlocks TentTrace perks at supported festivals — including priority access, exclusive offers, and more (varies by event).
£20 Deposit Hold: A refundable hold placed on your account when you scan your tent in. This is only charged if your tent is thrown away, discarded, or abandoned. Take your tent home, and the hold is released instantly when you scan out.
Secure Anti‑Tamper Tag
A secure anti‑tamper TentTrace tag is attached to your tent — usually fixed to a strap, loop, or another strong, secure part of the tent. This tag is your tent’s digital identity and is essential for the scan‑in / scan‑out process.
Do not lose or remove your tag. If the tag is missing, damaged, or tampered with, the system cannot verify your tent — resulting in the £20 charge being applied.
System Process
Scan In: When you arrive, we attach your secure anti‑tamper TentTrace tag to your tent. You then scan your tent in at the gate, activating your perks and applying the £20 deposit hold.
We Trace It: Your tent is monitored throughout the festival using the TentTrace system, ensuring it’s accounted for and not left behind.
Scan Out: When you leave, you must present both your tent and the attached TentTrace tag to staff. Once verified, you scan out, and your £20 hold is released instantly — confirming you took your tent home and completed the TentTrace cycle.
